Welcome to the English Speaking Contact Group of Haarlem.

Welcome to the website of the English Speaking Contact group, which roughly covers Zuid Kennermeerland and Haarlemermeer, and for those willing to travel - the whole of Noord Holland!

We vary in age and background from those that have lived here 20 years, and have brought up families here, to people who are here on secondment for a limited period of time.

Members of all nationalities and circumstances are welcome to join, the common factor is that we all speak English.

Our group is primarily an informal contact group and therefore we try to get people together in as many situations as possible and then let them meet up independently, once they have got to know each other. We always welcome any suggestions from members who have a hobby or interest that they may share with the group.

The most active part of the group, at the moment, is the Mums and Tots group, which welcomes all mothers/fathers with pre school children including babies. We meet once per week formally on a Tuesday morning between 10-12am either in one of our member’s homes or at a hall in a central location.  Details of the weekly location of this can be found on the website.
